Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landfill Equipment Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining landfill equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
This includes but is not limited to bulldozers, excavators, compactors, and other heavy equipment.
Responsibilities Operate landfill equipment safely and efficiently Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment Ensure landfill is operating in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations Monitor and maintain landfill gas collection system Manage landfill cell construction and closure Assist in landfill operations as needed Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment Knowledge of landfill operations and regulations Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work in a team environment Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
